Taking your Elective Placement in Physiotherapy with Projects Abroad

Physiotherapy Electives in Nepal with Projects Abroad

Your experience as a Physiotherapy Elective student abroad will be a meaningful one. You could find yourself placed in one of a variety of different establishments, such as a hospital, clinic, day care centre, or residential home. You could work with children with physical disabilities or people requiring rehabilitation after injuries.

We also have placements that work with adults experiencing a range of conditions including stroke victims, accidents, or congenital problems. Whatever your specialism, Projects Abroad can help you choose the right placement to support your studies.

Depending on where you choose to take your elective, you may have the opportunity to take part in outreach projects. Here you could go into communities, schools, or orphanages and run workshops and treat people who would otherwise not have access to this care.

Our in-country staff are experienced in ensuring your placement and experience fulfills the criteria of your elective module. They will work with you before you arrive to ensure you are happy with your placement choice. You will have a dedicated trained supervisor who will be on hand to discuss case studies and answer any questions you have regarding physiotherapy in their country and establishment.

If you are not an elective student or would rather take part in our regular Physiotherapy internships, please go to our Physiotherapy page.
